Query: Dear Mary Frances, I’m reaching out because I’m in a bit of a sticky situation. I’m an ag contractor, and I’ve been spreading slurry and making silage for this farmer for the past two years.

The problem? He hasn’t paid me a cent in all that time. Now I’ve just found out he’s gone and hired someone else to do the job this year.
