Wexford councillors unwilling to give up on Curracloe greenway – ‘There’s definitely a way to get this done’
Fianna Fáil councillor Garry Laffan is refusing to give up on a Wexford town to Curracloe greenway.
Despite the reservations of the Acting Chief Executive of Wexford County Council, members and officials within the Wexford Borough District are not giving up on a greenway project from Wexford town to Curracloe.
Just a week prior, Acting Chief Eddie Taaffe stated that he “wouldn’t be optimistic” that we’ll ever see a Curracloe greenway delivered as a result of environmental concerns which previously saw the project refused permission by An Bord Pleanála.
