I once witnessed a verbal joust between two bishops — the Church of Ireland and the Catholic Bishops of Limerick.

We were waiting for proceedings to get underway at the official opening of the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, a marvellous attraction recalling a time when the west Limerick village was at the centre of the world and one of the major stopping off points for flying boats between Europe and the Americas, especially during World War II.
