Laura Fox to step in for Jennifer Zamparelli as she takes extended 2FM break

Fox admitted she’s excited at her new challenge, having done weekend shows for 2FM over the past couple of years.

Fox became the new presenter of Ireland’s Fittest Family on RTE1 earlier this year.

“Finally switching off and in holiday mode, it definitely took a while,” said Jennifer on social media.

“The last couple of weeks have been extremely hectic professionally and personally so taking a little extended time off my radio show on RTE2FM to be with my family.

“I might even play a board game with @Zampers1 9her husband Lauterio0…Only joking I haven’t completely lost it.”

She added: “I have never in my 10 years taken more than a week off so it’s time. Looking forward to being available for the family and listening to the little rocket that is @foxylaura10 who will be keeping my seat warm. See you in a few weeks!.”

Fox replied: “Omg genuinely concerned you we gonna be playing monopoly. Phew! The well deserved break, see you a couple of weeks xx.”

Fox, who presents a weekend show on 2FM, was one of the celebrities who took part in this year’s series of Dancing with the Stars, where she made the finally.

She has also covered on 2FM’s breakfast show in recent weeks.
