Question: I know everyone is pretty much in the same boat at the moment with the rise in the cost of living, but I find that I absolutely cannot stop worrying about money. Both myself and my husband work and yet we cannot make ends meet.

My two kids do some activities, not a huge amount, and all of a sudden we can’t pay for them without dipping into our savings. We spend very little on ourselves or on entertainment, so there is nowhere we can cut back. My daughter is due to go to secondary school in a couple of years and I am already waking at night, terrified that she won’t get into the only non-fee-paying school in our area.
