Met Éireann forecast dry and sunny day as temperatures set to soar to over 20 degrees this week

Met Éireann has forecast a dry and sunny day with temperatures set to soar above 20 degrees later in the week.

Today will be dry with some sunshine. Highest temperatures 14 to 19 degrees, coolest near coasts in the north and west, in a light and variable breeze.

Mainly dry with clear spells tonight. Lowest temperatures 5 to 10 degrees. Light southerly or variable breezes.

Mainly dry tomorrow, Wednesday, with a few sunny spells. Some rain or drizzle may develop in the west and northwest during the day, transitioning to the north in the evening.

Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees in light southerly or variable breezes

Becoming largely dry with clear spells developing Wednesday night. Lowest temperatures 7 to 10 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Thursday will be mainly dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures 17 to 20 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Mainly dry with clear spells overnight Thursday night. Lowest temperatures 9 or 10 degrees in light southerly breezes.

Mainly dry Friday with spells of sunshine. Highest temperatures 17 to 21 degrees with light southerly breezes.

Lowest temperatures Friday night 8 to 10 degrees and staying mainly dry with light winds.

Staying dry for Saturday with spells of sunshine and temperatures up to 22 degrees inland with light winds.

"Turning a little cooler again for the extended outlook period,” Met Éireann added.
