Mission accomplished, at least for now. Two races, two wins, two national records and with that, the Irish enjoyed a dream opening night at the World Relays in the Bahamas.

The mixed 4x400m and women’s 4x400m teams produced two of the finest relay performances in Irish athletics history at the Thomas Robinson Stadium in Nassau last night, breaking the national records, winning their heats and securing qualification for the Paris Olympics.
