Sligo city centre hotel The Address has undergone an extensive makeover.

It’s part of the family-owned Irish hotel group, The Address Collective and is the fifth property opened under the renowned brand,

After an €8 million investment, the new property on Quay Street brings 40 jobs and a significant economic boost to Sligo.

The Address Sligo is owned by leading hoteliers Brian and Ciara McGettigan and the stylish new 61-bed hotel has undergone an extensive refurbishment.

The hotel spans over five sympathetically restored stories, blending contemporary design, rich heritage, and state of the art facilities to create an urban sanctuary in the heart of Sligo.

Amenities at the hotel include a wellness spa complete with gym, plunge pool, heated loungers and a Himalayan salt rock sauna, steam room, secret garden outdoor hot tub and two Treatment rooms.

Speaking at the opening of The Address Sligo, Brian and Ciara Mc Gettigan said, “This commitment and significant capital investment in Sligo demonstrates our appetite to grow the Address Collective Brand. The location lends itself to a truly boutique hotel and we look forward to welcoming guests to The Address Sligo.”

The hotel's design is centred around the wild Irish landscape, with aquatic colour palettes inspired by Sligo’s coastline and the lush lakelands. In the lobby and bar, marble desks and tables echo Ireland’s emerald green and Atlantic blue colourways.

Ciara added: “Each of The Address Collective’s hotels lovingly reflect the city they belong to, and we were excited to work with so many incredible Irish designers and makers to bring The Address Sligo to life.
