Patrick Kielty’s wife Cat Deeley has revealed how their young son once mistook chef Gordon Ramsay for his father.

The presenter of ITV’s This Morning show told viewers that Milo, who was four at the time, made the mix-up as he watched a security video on a British Airways flight.

The pre-flight video featured Ramsay and as soon as he appeared on screen Milo exclaimed: “Da, da.”

Cat who laughed off the mistake was talking on about lookalikes after TV and radio star Rylan Clark insisted that he’s not wanted by police in England after an e-fit baring a striking resemblance to him went viral on social media.

Kent police had released the computer-generated image of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with a robbery.

And the former X Factor star put up a post online saying: “Wasn’t me!”

The show also said You’re Beautiful singer James Blunt had responded this week with a playful ‘oh uh’ after police released a CGI relating to a burglary in Tunbridge Wells.

Millions of social media users said the suspect looked like the pop star but it was pointed out that eye-witnesses said he had a front tooth missing and was wearing a dirty T-shirt.

This Morning co-host Ben Shepherd said one of his children had once mistaken Supermarket Sweep star Dale Winton for him during a television programme.

And guest Martin Kemp, the former Spandau Ballet musician and EastEnders actor, said people often thought he was Hollywood A-lister Nicolas Cage.

Last year another police e-fit of a suspected robber in London went viral after people joked on Twitter that the man was a lookalike for England footballer Harry Kane.

In 2019, in Blackpool a man who was a doppelganger of Friends actor David Schwimmer was jailed for theft and fraud.

Abdulah Husseini was arrested after he was captured on CCTV with beer he had bought using a stolen bank card.

After social media users commented on his likeness to Ross Geller, the character played by Schwimmer in Friends, the actor posted a light-hearted picture of himself in a shop carrying a carton of beer.

He wrote: “Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York at the time.”
