The late, great Maurice Ignatius Keane used to do a wonderful take-off on equally great GAA commentator Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh. It went along the lines, “the first half was even, the second half was even worse” in the best Mossie impression of his equally famous fellow Kerryman.

While the first half on Saturday wasn’t even or anywhere close, the second was certainly worse from a Leinster perspective.
