Perhaps the biggest surprise from Ireland’s Six Nations squad announcement was that Andy Farrell decided not to include any uncapped players in his 34-man group, as he instead opts for continuity on the back of a strong body of work.
Although uncapped trio Sam Prendergast, Oli Jager and Tom Ahern have been named as ‘training panellists’, they have some work to do to force their way into the regular squad.
