Come kick-off at Croke Park on Saturday, it will be exactly three weeks since the majority of Leinster’s front-liners last played a game.
In the intervening period, a mostly young and second-string squad were heavily beaten twice in South Africa, while preparations for the province’s biggest game of the season were being ramped up back at their Dublin base.
