Just when you thought there were no more frontiers for Willie Mullins to conquer, the Closutton maestro works the oracle yet again with one hand now firmly around his first British Jump Trainers’ Championship.

Such an extraordinary feat has not been achieved in 70 years with the mighty Vincent O’Brien the only Irish trainer to be previously crowned British National Hunt champion in 1952-’53 and 1953-’54.
