GAA fans will benefit from a new ticket offer for All-Ireland SFC and Tailteann Cup games

Loyal GAA supporters will be rewarded for following their county with a special 'three for two' ticket package available for group stages of the All-Ireland SFC and the Tailteann Cup.

The cost of supporting your county amid a cost of living crisis is regularly mentioned by fans as a deterrent for going to games and the GAA has seemingly listened to such feedback.

A downturn in attendances could also be another reason for offering such football ticket packages as the GAA look to get more people through the turnstiles with a bonanza of games around the corner.

Supporters will benefit greatly, though, with €50 securing you a three-match pack through Ticketmaster if your county is competing in the All-Ireland SFC, which kicks off on Saturday week.

With individual match tickets for the group stages priced at €25 each, that's a saving of €25 (€50 instead of €75) if a supporter attends all three games but there is no such reduction for juveniles.

An individual juvenile ticket costs €5 while the juvenile fee for a three-match package is €15 - an adult ticket must also be purchased to ensure that children are accompanied.

Similarly, there is a three-match Tailteann Cup package also available for €30 as the action in the second-tier championship commences this weekend. Again, this equates to 'three for two' with an individual ticket priced at €15 per game.

However, there are currently no three-pack options for students and OAPs for either the All-Ireland SFC or the Tailteann Cup with individual tickets priced at €20 and €10 per game in the respective competitions.
