The Department of Integration has confirmed that the historic Lawless Hotel in Aughrim, Co Wicklow is not under consideration to house Ukrainians or international protection applicants.

The confirmation came in response to a gathering of concerned community members on Monday afternoon, which led to a public meeting and the publication of unverified plans for a new food court to be erected at the site in time for summer.
