Wexford village adopts a no-poster policy ahead of elections – ‘the reaction has been very positive’

While towns and villages across the county have become decorated with the faces of hopeful election candidates, there is one place in Wexford which remains free of political mugshots. For the second election in succession Bridgetown has adopted a no-poster policy, asking candidates to refrain from erecting posters within the village’s borders.

And, to their credit, those running for seats locally and in Europe have acceded to the request.
