Duncannon & St Joseph's Wexford Slimming World groups combined, have donated 453 bags to the Irish Cancer Society.

“This is an annual event that Slimming World organises every spring, where we ask our members to donate their oversized clothes to charity,” said Yvonne Byrne of Slimming World.

Slimming World groups across Ireland and the UK to help members do a spring clean, get rid of the old memories of bigger clothes and contribute to the Irish Cancer Society.

Each bag is worth between €25/€30 to the Irish Cancer Society.

“A huge thank you to all my members for their help and generosity, and to Paul Hughes from the Irish Cancer Society. Without them, this would not be such a huge success!!” said Yvonne.
