As one of Wexford’s biggest outdoor music festivals, Shedfest will welcome Irish and international acts as well as some well-known local faces to this years festival.

Shedfest is set to take place at the Arena, Buffers Alley in Gorey on Saturday, May 11.

This is the 15th year of Shedfest and the line-up includes plenty of well-known acts from Wexford such as local DJ Ciano who has performed at Shedfest in previous years. His high energy set on the Wexbury stage was one of the highlights of last year’s Shedfest.

Wexford’s The Hauring Jaysus are also set to perform their electric mix of folk pop fusion this year. They’ve sold out venues from Dublin to Limerick but this will be their first appearance at Shedfest.

1-4 to No Score are regular performers on the Wexford music circuit but this will be their debut performance at Shedfest. They have a huge following with their traditional Irish music playlist from The Hills of Donegal to Celtic Symphony.

Liam Byrne and the Pucas are back by popular demand and should be one of the highlights of the festival. They had Tago, outside stage hopping two years ago with their mixture of floor filling Irish anthems and pop and rock classics.

Springbreak one of Europe’s premier supergroup with hits from ABBA, The Boss, Britney Spears, Robbie Williams, The Killers, and Taylor Swift will also perform on the night. They have performed for such icons as Cher, U2 and Michael Fassbender.

Dublin based Riff Shop combines DJ and producer SteveO, Aaron Johnston on drums Sean on saxophone. They emerged from the Dublin nightclub scene eight years ago and now are regulars on the national and international circuit.

South African DJ Richard Saunders is making his Shedfest debut and brings an international flavour and eclectic music set to this year’s festival. Now based in Limerick he has quickly established himself on the Irish music scene.

There will be a taxi rank operating throughout the night and Vinny’s food trucks will also be on site. Tickets are €35 and are now on sale online. Gates will open from 6p.m.
