Opposition grows in Sligo to location of proposed new library with ‘huge anger in the community’

A former Fine Gael Dail Deputy has vowed to do “whatever it takes” to get Sligo County Council to reverse its decision to locate a new library in the town’s iconic Art Deco Theatre.
John Perry claimed the decision was done without the knowledge or consent of the community who are said to be seething over the development.
