A further public meeting is being held this over week over plans to house 120 asylum seekers at a hotel in County Mayo.

Protesters have maintained a round the clock presence outside The Twin Trees Hotel on Downhill Road in Ballina, County Mayo following the confirmation that the hotel is set to welcome up to 120 International Protection Applicants from family units in 33 of its bedrooms.
