Kerry U20s hoping to reverse a 16-year losing streak in All Ireland semi-final with Meath

Since the Kingdom last claimed the All Ireland Under 20/21 title in 2008, they’ve not once triumphed in the All Ireland semi-final at the grade

Kerry will be aiming to reverse the recent trend of coming up short in All-Ireland U-20 semi-finals when Tomás Ó Sé’s charges make the journey to Semple Stadium in Thurles on Saturday to face Leinster champions, Meath.

After the Kingdom last captured the All-Ireland title at Under 21/20 grade in 2008, they failed to even lift a provincial title for nine barren seasons. With that monkey off the back in 2017, the green and gold are now on six Munster crowns from the last eight attempts.
