A mark of success for any event is its longevity and Cool Siúl can certainly call itself a success now having marked its 7th successive event this weekend.

The annual walk is now part and parcel of all the May Bank Holiday weekend on the Iveragh peninsula and this year the community once again came out to support the walk and most importantly raise funds for worthy local causes.

Since then the event has been a huge support to local charities and this year was no exception.

The group enjoyed lovely refreshments thanks to Bernie O'Driscoll in the Halla Pobail afterwards.

Donations can still be made through the Go FundMe link online on Facebook and under Cool Suil at https://gofund.me/eaefb08d
