Footballer Declan Rice met his girlfriend Lauren Fryer at school when they were both 16. It’s been an eventful nine years since then for Rice, who briefly played for the Republic of Ireland before controversially switching allegiances to the English national team.

After captaining West Ham, Rice joined Arsenal in the summer of 2022 and welcomed his first child, a son called Jude, with Fryer around the same time.
