Two due in court in Dublin and Wexford following seizures of cannabis worth €3,680,000

Two men have charged following two large seizures of cannabis in Dublin and Wexford with a total value of €3,680,000 this week.

One man in his 50s has been charged after €900,000 of cannabis herb was seized by gardaí and Revenue officers on Tuesday.

He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning at 10.30am.

Gardaí have also charged a man in his 60s who was arrested on Tuesday as part of the joint operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service, during which €2,780,000 of cannabis herb was seized.

The man is due to appear before Gorey District Court this morning at 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing, a garda spokesperson said.
