Four Courts app costing €50,000 had just 1,172 downloads in two years

The Courts Service spent almost €50,000 developing a mobile phone app to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the Battle of the Four Courts in 2022.

Despite being rolled out two years ago the app has been downloaded just 1,172 times. The Courts Service was unable to provide any further usage metrics for its app.
