Most vets do not believe bovine TB eradication can be achieved in Ireland by 2030, or at all, a recently published study by the Department of Agriculture has found.

The study of vets’ views on the State’s long-running eradication programme seen by the Farming Independent found many vets held negative perceptions about the current TB test being capable of eradicating TB.
