Query: Since retiring from dairy farming 15 years ago we have leased our farm to a neighbouring dairy farmer. While we got on with the farmer, I always felt we were not getting enough for what I regard as a really good farm.
As the farmer is a close neighbour there was always kind of this sense we couldn’t ask for more money, but with the cost of living rising significantly, we needed the farm to be returning more.
