‘Horrific violence’ as protesters do battle at UCLA campus

Pro- and anti-Israel protesters fought with sticks and fireworks on the campus of the University of California in Los Angeles as escalating violence engulfed the student demonstrations sweeping America.

Shortly before midnight on Tuesday, a pro-Palestine encampment was attacked by a large group of counter-demonstrators, wearing black outfits and white masks, who tried to tear down the barricades surrounding the encampment.
