Cork City FC pay tribute after death of Colin Healy’s wife Kelly

Cork City have announced the passing of Kelly Healy, wife of former player and manager, Colin, and mother of current player, Arran.

Former Ireland international Healy is currently an assistant coach with the Ireland Women’s side, who play France later this evening in a Euro 2025 qualifier in Metz, but he did not travel with the squad this week.

Cork City’s statement on X read “It was with immense sadness that all at Cork City FC learned of the passing of Kelly Healy, wife of our former player and manager, Colin, and mother of our player, Arran.

“Our deepest condolences go to Colin, Arran, Hollie and their wider family. As a mark of respect, there will be a minute's silence before tonight's game against Cobh Ramblers.”

Healy started his professional career with Celtic, where he won the league under Martin O’Neill in 2001, and made 13 appearances for the Irish senior team. The Cork native managed the Leesiders between 2020 and 2023.
