It really does beggar belief that this weekend will follow like the one just gone and the question must be asked – why are we putting hurling in the corner?

The most unpredictable provincial campaigns in recent memory are playing out in Munster and Leinster but this will be another weekend without live hurling on terrestrial television. It really does feel like hurling has become the poor relation.
