Wexford mother (41) passes away following medical emergency at her home

A 41-year-old Wexford woman has died after a medical emergency at her home on Friday morning.

The incident saw a huge emergency response with several sirens audible around Wexford town shortly before 7.30 a.m.

At least three units from the National Ambulance Service rushed to the house after the alarm was raised. Despite the best efforts of paramedics, the popular mother of four was sadly declared dead at the scene.

She was brought to Wexford General Hospital and her remains are due to be brought to University Hospital Waterford for a full post mortem examination.
