John Hegarty believes Wexford footballers can make their mark in Tailteann Cup

Wexford Senior football manager John Hegarty is quietly confident that his side can go deep in the Tailteann Cup, despite being thrown into what he described as “a challenging group” in Tuesday’s draw in Croke Park.
The Slaneysiders will have to travel to face beaten Connacht semi-finalists Sligo in their opening match, as well as hosting Antrim, before facing Tipperary in a neutral venue.
