Louth turned in their worst display of the season in Dowdallshill on Saturday afternoon to stretch their winless run to seven matches.

There was no lack of effort by Trevor Hilliard’s men but the performance was worrying in that it was devoid of quality, while their basic skill execution, particularly the passing and handling at times, was way short of the required standard.
