The late Vincent O’Doherty is to be laid to rest in Listowel following a private family funeral.

The 20-year-old agricultural student sadly died at Cork University Hospital following injuries he sustained in a road crash on the N69 that happened on 10 April.

Vincent, from Killeshin House, Dirha West in Listowel was passionate about farming and enjoyed nothing more than tending to the land and livestock on his grandmother’s farm in Ballydonoghue.

Kerry football was also a passion for Vincent as he played on juvenile teams for Ballydonoghue GAA while also following the fortunes of the Kerry team.

Tributes to Vincent in the aftermath of his death referred to him as a ‘quiet and gentle guy’ whose passing has shocked an entire community.
