Simon Harris says ‘tent city’ on Mount Street ‘will not be repeated’ along Grand Canal
New tents spring up despite pledges from the Government that this would not be allowed to happen
Taoiseach Simon Harris has said a “multi-agency response” is ongoing in relation to an encampment of asylum-seekers along the Grand Canal in Dublin and that a meeting took place yesterday afternoon about it.
It comes following the deconstruction of a “tent city” on Mount Street last week.
